I recently purchased the said item for my old motherboard. I properly plugged it in with my older 4GB DDR3 and the system wouldn't even boot. I tried to utilize only the new one and still the same negative result. But (of course) if I don't use the new item system is fine. So there's nothing wrong with my system.

If it's not is there any other compatible Kingston RAMS with my motherboard with same specs DDR3 8GB capacity since I am hoping I could still exchange somewhat, somehow.

Going back to my system, here's the scenario:

1. Slot farthest from cpu / old 4GB ram == WORKING FINE
2. Slot fartest from cpu / new 8GB ram == NOT WORKING
3. Slot nearest from cpu / old 4GB ram == NOT WORKING
4. Slot nearest from cpu / new 8GB ram == NOT WORKING

tried cleaning both ram's pins with to make sure they're clean and also with the slots, brushed them off to ensure there's no dust.

The web link shows the specification for the 8 GB module, but it also indicates that the module may not have been tested for compatibility.

If module KVR16N11/8 has been tested in another computer, then the issue of it not working in the 2AF7 motherboard may be due to BIOS limiting and unable to recognize the memory, even though the hardware itself should be capable of running this memory module.

Try to re-seat the CPU, as it might not be making 100% contact with its socket; this often causes memory issues otherwise.
There doesn't seem to be detailed (enough) specifications for this motherboard available, so it is not entirely clear what this motherboard is capable of.

Kingston ValueRAM part number KVR16N11/8 should be compatible with the system (without the existing 4 GB module installed). However! There may be a limitation on recognized memory capacity imposed by the system BIOS.

The hardware should be capable of running up to 16 GB memory (made up of two 8 GB memory modules), but the BIOS for this motherboard might be limiting memory capacity to 4 GB per slot. So the total motherboard capacity might be limited to 8 GB (made up of two 4 GB memory modules).

If possible, try the 8 GB memory module in another computer to verify that it is not faulty. If necessary borrow other computer from neighbor, friend or whoever else for the memory test.
