GPU fan is on max

I was playing Fortnite. When suddenly my gpu fan started running loud, and pc turned off.

Then I went to sleep. In the morning I turned up my PC. Fan is running loudly again. I start up the msi afterburner. Fan Speed(%) on Auto is 100%
GPU temperature in C is 0
GPU usage in % is 0

I can set my GPU fan manual to lower, but that is not the solution. Help!

most likely your GPU is very old already. remove it and unscrew the fan cover and remove the dust as much as you can from the heatsink and the fans. you can also buy new thermal paste to replace the one in the GPU.

try using DDU to reinstal your graphics driver.

you will need to share screenshots of your GPU temps in HWinfo.
and properly right down your specs or were just guessing here. there is something wrong with your reading if the temps is zero. idle temps should be hotter than your CPU.
