Hi, my old PC parts were faulty so I upgraded to a intel core i5 8400, 8gb ddr4 2300 mhz RAM and a MSI Z370 gaming plus MS-7B61 motherboard.
The main issue I seem to have is sometimes downloads fail and corrupt, its not just in my web browser its in all applications. At first I assumed it was my hard drive so I got a new SSD and it changed nothing. It all started happening after I upgraded all 3 parts.
Also, it doesn't always do it, some websites I can download fine from, others not. I've tried clean installs of windows too. Maybe it's my wifi adapter not being compatible with my motherboard? Or is that not possible? My WiFi adapter is a Netgear A6210

Yes its a fresh install using a windows iso from Microsoft.

I only have 1x8gb ram so I cannot test with any other ram since my old parts were ddr3.

I will test that memory diagnostics as soon as I can. Also 1 strange thing, I got the ram from eBay and it came in a package that was designed for 2 ram even though I ordered one and it did only come with one. Don't know if that has to do with anything

The overall memory test status is %10 right now, it's been running for about 45 minutes. It says no problems have been detected yet

As for using an ethernet cable, my router is quite far away from my pc and I'm not going to fit my pc where my router is

For diagnostic purposes you can use a long ethernet cable up to a maximum length of 100 meters (330 feet).

Hi, I'm still having the issue, I have 2 identical wifi adapters and both have the same issue, I've updated my bios and updated all drivers. I'm beginning to think it is my motherboard, both wifi adapters work fine on other computers.
