Planning on getting a dslr and a few lenses for $1500. Plan to do street and landscape photography. Any tips on what cameras?

For that price, consider used. New and you will get just a cut above entry level, used and you can get close to pro level.

What size are you looking for? Bigger = better quality (particularly in modest light). Smaller = more discrete (less likely to have your camera be the invisible subject in each shot)
