Hi,
I have completed my first build on a MSI 370 A Pro with a 8600K processor. Everything is going smooth as can be except for one little issue.
I have 4 case fans, all the same, and they are connected to SYS Fan 1-4 on the motherboard. They are all set up DC with smart control. At idle, SYS Fans 2-4 all sit ~ 850 RPM. System Fan 1 sits around 1300 RPM. Under stress tests, SYS 1 stays around 1300. The others ramp up a according to the voltage changes. They are all 3 pin.
It would seem to me that the SYS Fan 1 header is not responding to any of the voltage changes. I have tried 3 other fans in the header, all different models and they respond the same way.
Does anyone have any insight? Is the board bad? Why do 3 of the 4 respond normally and one does not?
Thank you in advance for any help!
