Howdy folks. I was recently seeking advice on 1060 6gb or 1070 as a viable option paired with my oc'd 3570k. Turns I can not find one for less then 750 Canadian.
I did locate a Rx 580 8gb for just under 500 Canadian. How do you guys feel about this card. And how does it compare to, say a gtx 1060 6gb. Do you think it is a viable option for my current rig replacing a 660ti. Just looking for advice/opinions from people who may have been in similar situation
Thanks!

Its a good GPU. Good upgrade from your 660ti
I have an XFX 8GB.

$500CDN? That's a tough one. Mine was $250 USD back in November.
Any GPU today is a tough sell.
I have a RX 480 8gb I just sold on eBay. I liked the card, but was able to sell it for 365 dollars. Just other needs before a GPU. Planning to buy a 1050ti if I can locate one for a reasonable price. But the RX 480 8gb is a great card. I paid 250 last year.

It looks like on eBay you can land a GTX 1060 3gb for about 300 US if you wanted to save some cash.

That said, as far as I'm aware, the 580 is basically the 480 tweaked. If that's the case, it's a great card. I'd hate to pay 500 for one though. Having a hard time with the idea of possibly over 200 for a 1050ti myself. But oh well.
