HP z210 hyper-threading issue

I have an HP z210 workstation with an i7 2600 processor. The processer has 4 cores and 8 threads but when I turn on hyper-threading in the BIOS task manager shows the
CPU as having 2 cores and 4 threads. How can I fix this?

What does it show in Device Manager? 4 or 8 processors? If only 4, delete them and then reboot the system. It should detect the CPU with 8 cores.
