The situation is: I don't have a good monitor (1080p, 1444p) I can use a 1366x768 60hz monitor or a 1280x1024 60hz(not at same time, I will just use only one)
And I was wondering. Which build will be good+ for this situation ? (consider I won't upgrade in +5 years, It doesn't have to be a HIGH-END PC build)
(I want to play some new AAA games, and "old" games (from 2013,12,10. back)
This will be a BIG switch from AMD A8 6600K with RADEON Graphics and a PSU that turns itself off..(i can't even play CS:GO on medium).

I was thinking about a gtx1060 3gb + intel i5 8400/ryzen 5 1600

To play ( $ : Consider to play on this PC / Will buy them when I get the PC):
VALVE Titles. (CS, HL2, PORTAL)
$ Overwatch
$ Rainbow Six Siege
$ Ghost Recon Wildlands
Shadow of Mordor
GTA V.
PAYDAY 2
$ Shooters (Battlefield 1 & 3, CoD MW, $ WWII, )
$ PUBG.
Fallout 3, $ Fallout 4

Solution
I will assume you a have some of the basics here.

Case- Have
Windows 10- Have
Optical-Have
Hard Drive for basic storage- Have

So you need
CPU
MB
RAM
GPU
PSU
SSD would be nice even a small one

What is your budget? GPU and RAM prices are stupid and will be all year long which making budget systems harder.

Also nice is a better Monitor, a decent 23inch 5ms LED 1080p will run around $90 as well.
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel - Core i5-8400 2.8GHz 6-Core Processor ($189.97 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI - Z370 GAMING PLUS ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($106.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($91.99 @ Newegg)...

Hello.
I am not going to ask about your budget, i think its kind of private. I have i5, gtx970, 16 ram and all those games are playable, even GTA 5 on ultra. (all together the setup was 1k) You can go with less, but you will need i5 and a more or less ok GPU. Below is a site where you can build your PC , check the pricing, etc.

I hope it helps.
