At some point I'd highly recommend getting a SSD (240gb+).

They have been. A lot of those AOL and other spam questions had 404 not found meaning a mod removed it. As a member you are welcome to help them by reporting those spammers. There was over a dozen posters(an hour ago) and they were posting multiple times each.

If I were recording, or even streaming something, I would take the amd build posted earlier. It may not be as fast as the intel one, but with more cores, doing both the recording and whatever else possibly goes on at the same time will be somewhat smoother. You don’t want any fans to be disappointed with the lag, right? Also, the ryzens can be overclocked to match up against the i7 (assuming this i7 was non-overclockable, if you overclocked an i7...well, it may be somewhat faster). A small bonus, an SSD was thrown in.

Just report them , and If u have got any tips on how to improve the forum you can always message viddyvane or johny:)

I think even the 8th gen i7s are strictly gaming cpus (and yes the one linked was locked)
For gaming i'd rather just buy a i5 8600k + a good cooler and overclock the hell out of it.
For recording, Ryzen 7 will be a lot better.
There were few other questionable choices in his build like no SSD, a somewhat cheap psu considering this is a pretty expensive build and the slower more expensive ram.
