Strange shutdown behavior after new motherboard

I recently switched my motherboard to a new one of the same socket-type (didn't swap CPU or anything else) and my PC has been acting a little strange.

For one, it doesn't shut down all the way. When I click "Shut Down," Windows closes and my monitor turns off, but my PC remains running with the lights on and the fans still running, and I have to do a hard reset with the power switch to turn it off.

Secondarily, it seems like my PC shuts off every time it goes to sleep? When I leave and go do something else for 30+ mins and come back, my PC is always off. When I boot it up again and check the Event Monitor, it always reports the following: "Windows failed to resume from hibernate with the error status 0xC0000001."

Lastly, I occasionally get a black screen with white text when I start up or leave my computer alone for a while that says "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key." This is pretty easily fixed by rebooting into my BIOS and making sure it boots into my hard drive, but it's weird. Maybe it's the SATA cable? The hard drive is very new and so is the motherboard, so I don't think they're damaged.

I could be wrong, but I'm chalking all of this up to the fact that I just switched motherboards, which is a pretty big thing to do. I'm on the latest Windows update. Is there anything I can do to fix these issues apart from reinstalling Windows 10? I installed all/most of my motherboard drivers from their site, but it's worth nothing that the Intel Chipset installation froze at the end every time and I'm not sure what to do about that.

Solution
If you changed motherboards without reinstalling Windows it can cause system instability.

Recommend linking your Windows license key to your MS account before reinstalling to make activation easier. Do a reformat and clean install as well, reset will not be good enough.
