I still have a freezing and lock up problem and I have swapped out nearly 90% of my parts (only remaining is the videocard and the motherboard) videocard is not overclock

I don't have any other components to swap out at the moment but I just want to find out whether a graphics card can cause lockups/freezing/hang on the computer? specifically in safe mode or in the bios screen?

because the system just randomly hangs at any given moment, no matter where you are, most notably it hangs when it was in the bios setup and before being able to access safe mode (select boot mode)

My specs:
AMD FX 8320e 3.20ghz (stock)
Cryorig H7
MSI 970 Gaming motherboard
GSkill Ripjaws 8GB 1600mhz Single Stick
nvidia zotac gtx 970 4gb 256bit ddr5 (stock)
120gb Kingston SSD
500gb Toshiba HDD
1TB WD Blue HDD
FSP Hydro G 80 Plus Gold 650w

I noticed you didn't list your power supply. Could you state the make/model? My brother's computer happened to pretty well do what yours is doing and after troubleshooting the various hardware components, it was determined to be a faulty PSU, so that's why I'm asking about yours. I also have the Zotac GTX 970 dual fan card(the shortest one-8inches I believe) and have had it running almost constantly for 2 years now and no problems.

sorry I forgot to mention,
PSU is FSP Hydro G 80 plus gold 650w

I'm not sure if it's the faulty wiring here since it only happened just recently (last november)
