Criticism wanted on a first time build

I am building this gaming pc so that I can play rust. I don't want to spend the money if this isn't going to do what I want it to though. Any input and suggestions welcomed!

I know this is all the moeny you have got but try to get 2x4 gb ddr4 2666+ mhz ram AND a 250gb ssd.

Awesome! Will do on the ssd. I am planning on getting a bigger hdd later too. I know it might not be super smooth for now, but will it be ok if I just use the 8 gb of RAM for now and add another 8 later for 16 of dual RAM?

You can do that but theres a pretty big difference between single and dual channel ram. look up the benchmark videos. Im really happy with my 2x4 gb ram, but this is something you will need to decide

Do not count on adding ram later.
Ram is sold in kits for a reason.
A motherboard must manage all the ram using the same specs of voltage, cas and speed.
The internal workings are designed for the capacity of the kit.
Ram from the same vendor and part number can be made up of differing manufacturing components over time.
Some motherboards, particularly AMD can be very sensitive to this.
This is more difficult when more sticks are involved.
That is why ram vendors will NOT support ram that is not bought in one kit.
It is safer to get what you need in one kit.
But, it is a bit more expensive because of the added matching of all the sticks to insure compatibility.
