Case fan question

Sorry, PC noob here.
A case with 2 built in fans would require 2 places to plug into on the motherboard. Is this right? Also, if these 2 fans were RGB, would they require 2 RGB plugs to plug in the motherboard or would they be combined and only need one? Thanks.

All of the needed wires should have come with the case/fans. Fans typically have 1 cable (2 for rgb fans)

1) A cable from a fan to a port on the mobo (typically labeled “SYS_FANX” with X being a number)

(Sometimes, a seperate power cable is needed, but not likely)

[2) A cable to the mobo that allows for RGB led control and power. (Strictly led power, not the whole fan)]
