System Specifications:

Windows 7 Ultimate service pack 1 which is now Windows 10 pro (Upgraded during free upgrade)
CPU: i7-3770k
GPU : Zotac 1060 6gb
Motherboard: Intel DZ75ML-45K
120 GB Kingston SSD
1 TB HDD
PSU CS750M
8GB 1333 DDR3 Ram

Symptoms

If i reboot my PC it resets my boot device preference and gives me a please enter correct boot device error. I then hit the restart button on my PC case and it boots perfectly fine.

Videos played from my HDD tend to not play very well. They freeze and loop for a few seconds.

Folders don't open very fast i get long green bar timers when opening folders with lots of video clips in them.

My PC freezes in games and out of games discord will even freeze for 45 seconds at a time.

Eg. I'll run a game like PUBG with perfect performance for 15 minutes and then it will just freeze everything for 45 seconds. Sometimes I can hear discord comms and sometimes I cannot. This can happen randomly and at any moment and is not limited to being in a game.

Measures taken to diagnose so far

When i ran my seagates tool my HDD seemed okay. Crystal Mark Demo/Info shows that my SSD has run over 33k hours and some of its read/ write speeds are slower than my HDD.

I would clean install windows but i do not have a key.

I will attach below some Screenshots of HWINFO/Monitor/Crystal Mark Demo.

Could this be a motherboard issue? Could it simply be a result of my windows accumulating too much baggage over the years? Sata cables affecting transfer rates? I simply have no idea what my next steps should be.

Any inputs are appreciated.

Solution
Sounds like a bad drive. Freezing videos, drive not showing up during first boot, games freezing. All points to drive. Swap drives and see if you problem goes away.
