Hi guys,
Recently I switched my PC's power pack off while it was still on instead of manually shutting it down in the OS and it turns out the CPU died, lol. Got the CPU replaced for free under warranty but when I tried to overclock my MSI Z170A Gaming M3 Motherboard but apparently the CPU ratios were locked. Turns out the name of the MB identified in my bios is the MSI B150 Gaming M3 and not the Z170A. This is not possible as it says on the front of my motherboard inside my PC 'Z170A' and i'm quite sure before this issue happened I was able to overclock it and the name was identified correctly. I've already tried re-flashing the latest bios but the files don't show up on the USB for me to select them. Any ideas how to fix this?

Sorry for taking so long to reply, had exams and hadn't used my PC in ages. Just booted it yesterday and same issue persisted. The cpu I replaced it with was the same one i5-6600k and it says on my MB, right above the PCI slot where I put my GPU; "Z170A Gaming M3"
