What’s pins does my psu need to support my graphics card?

So I have a gtx 560 and I think it’s has a 6 pin and 8 pin or two six pin connectors. Does my psu need to match the pins? I can check the gpu but I’m pretty sure it’s two six pin connectors.

Yes, the plugs on PSU have to match the GPU side. Note that most new PSU models have so called 6+2 pin plugs that fit both into 6 and 8 pin connectors.
