I recently got a ROG GeForce GTX 1050 ti STRIX edition to upgrade my PNY GeForce GT 730. When trying to install the drivers for my 1050 ti both from nvidia.com and from the disk, all of the drivers "complete," but doesn't actually install the drivers. I have used the one that came with my graphics card (I don't know what the driver version is), 390.77, 390.65, and 388.59, all of which don't end up installing the driver. It ends up using Microsoft Basic Display Drivers upon reboot. I have installed both in safe mode and in regular mode, all of which were clean installs, and it still fails to get the driver installed. Is there any other recommended driver version? The main reason I know it fails to install is because I have a dual-monitor setup, which worked perfectly fine on my GT 730.
