Could someone help me put together a 1st build?? I tried to put something together from looking at other builds/youtube – https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/RhPybj

Its mainly for gaming – hoping to run most newer games at max settings. Maybe some light video editing/photoshop etc.

$1500ish AUD budget for the insides and the case – not including monitor, peripherals or software.
Preferably Intel (I know AMD is normally cheaper but just personal preference i guess)

I would like to be able to pick all the parts up from Umart or MSY if possible!
A low budget 24''monitor suggestion would be appreciated too.

Thanks for the help! Sinly

You were pretty much there, modified build below. Dropped you down to 8GB of RAM, this will play most vast majority of games without issue. Increased the RAM speed too. This will increase the system's performance (read second last paragraph).

Switched the SSD to one with a bit more capacity and decent speeds. Changed cases just for cost reduction but the 410 is one of the better cases out there. The Seasonic is a great PSU, highly rated and 80+ Gold. 550W is right where you want to be with this rig while still having room for upgrades.

For the monitor this is a good monitor at a very good budget price...
