Some thoughts.
Cryorig H5 is very good. But, for a stock i7-7500, the included stock cooler will work well enough.

All ram from major vendors are equally good and will have lifetime warranties.
Low profile like aegis or lpx will clear any cooler.
But, do not buy a single 8gb stick.
It will operate in single channel mode.
Buy a 2 x 4gb kit instead.
If you ever want 16gb, buy your 2 x8gb up front.
Adding ram later is not supported and is not 100% guaranteed to work.
Samsung 850 EVO would be my choice for performance and reliability.
The main benefit of the 850 PRO is longer endurance, but that is a non issue for desktop operations.

Since he didn't answer the motherboard doesn't matter too much when you are going with one of the big dealers and not overclocking

I have been pleased with gigabyte before, so I see no issues.
To compare similar products,
Go to Newegg and find the candidates.
Filter on the reviews by verified buyers.
Then look at what percent of the reviews have zero or one eggs indicating some sort of a problem.
In particular, look at the reasons for a bad review. Some are not very valid, so exclude those.

Do not be dismayed by negative comments, those who are happy do not post.
But, see if there is a pattern of valid complaints.

Respect / Peace :}

It's not that it isn't supported, it's that the 2x kits that come with 2 modules are tested and matched to perform within very close tolerances of one another, which gives best performance in dual channel since the two modules are mirrored.

The main problems you run into when adding another 8GB module later is the aforementioned tolerances from one to the other, and if you wait too long, even getting modules with the same timings can be difficult or impossible.

The latter is what I experienced when adding another 2GB module to my X58 setup, to make it 8GB vs 6GB. There were no longer any CAS 7 timing modules, so the system defaults to the module with slower timing. It still works though.

Also, if you don't buy ultra fast timing modules to begin with, this is not likely to happen. However the performance will still not be matched from one module to the other, like it is with a dual channel set.
