Help! My CPU isn't posting and none of the case fans are working

I have built a computer recently and none of the case fans or the cpu fan is spinning, everything turns on except the fans and it doesn't post

My guesses for what is could be is that the fans aren't plugged in correctly, I could've gotten thermal compound on the pins or the motherboard

Well motherboard is definitely fine usually pins are fine even with some compound on it, only bad when the mobo pins are bent.
There should be a slot called cpu_fan for the CPU try putting that on and it should work.
Also if it doesn't turn it off immediately otherwise you could damage your CPU by not cooling it and cause it to overheat.

You probably just have the fan headers in the wrong place.

Update: I've tried taking it out the pins are fine I plugged it into the right fan header but it just doesn't post
I've tried moving the ram and that didn't do anything, it doesn't seem to matter where I put the fan headers none of them work regardless, and the mother boards lights up but no fans turn on
So could it be a mother board thing or is it the CPU
