so ive had a 1080 ti for a long time now and i was wondering if overclocking it on a 600w power supply is safe.
rest of the specs i guess :

i5 4570 (i know might seem like it bottlenecks my card but it doesnt at 4k)
16 gb ddr3
my power supply is an antec vp600p

If light OCing and psu is quite new, you can use it for now, but plan to get 550+ good quality if you plan to OC heavily.

That's not a completely horrible PSU.... but I wouldn't look to stress it too much.

Considering you're looking at about ~350W max load.... I wouldn't look to push too much as far as an OC goes.

You'd *probably* be fine..... but age and how much the PSU has degraded over time will play a big factor.

IF you want (or need) to replace it, the SeaSonic Focus+ 550W is one of the best units out there and, in the US at least, can be had for <$55 after MIR.
