Hello. i have a client's ASUS ROG G752VS that is 15 months old. first, the keyboard died after 13 months, then, while waiting for the KB to arrive from China, the unit overheated and will not boot up. they bought two of these at the same time from amazon -- over $6k! the other unit is working perfectly. any ideas as to how to get some help from asus for this lemon? i've searched and found a good number of units displaying the same issues.

thanks for the knowledge!

Unfortunately, you will have to contact Asus directly. They will make you send the unit to them & they will perform their "diagnostic". Afterwards they'll quote you on how much it will cost to replace(unless it's under warranty).

I had an older Asus in which the touchpad stopped working. I disassembled it and got the part # off of it. I tried contacting Asus to see if they'd sell me just the part. They wouldn't & insisted I send in the laptop for "diagnostic". Was informed that if it is in fact a defective touchpad, it would be $690 something to replace it(as the unit was out of warranty).

So I can imagine how much they'll charge for the motherboard + you have to pay for the shipping yourself.

P.S. I wasn't able to find the touchpad on any online parts store(not even ebay). Which was why I even bothered to contact Asus.
