Is it okay to buy off used motherboards?

I recently bought a used i5 4570 in my country since I didn't have enough cash, and I wanted to upgrade my PC before summer. I already have a heatsink, and my last missing component was the motherboard. Most of the stores that sell the socket brand new (1150) had already told me that they're phased out. Should I continue looking for brand new, or buy used instead?

You can buy a used motherboard BUT you have to be 100% sure that nothing is damaged. Especially, the motherboard pins shouldn't be bent. The best would be just to get some cash together and buy a brand new one.

Yeah, that's what I was planning, but as I said, the 1150 motherboards here were already phased out, although some shops sell them- they're used. I'm the Philippines so parts are rare and expensive.
