Hi, I have a console type of pc called an "Alienware Alpha" (R1).
I bought the base or the cheapest which had an:
Intel Core I3
8GB DDR3 RAM
1TB HDD 7,200RPM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 860m
(I am not too sure on the names of the mother board and PSU)

The PC was becoming pretty slow and games are laggy at time.
I was wondering if someone could tell me how much longer can I use this PC until it's dead?

I am also planning to build a PC in the near future but not too sure on what specs are good...
I wan't to be able to play all games at MAX Settings.
I created a list on PCPartPicker, and I would love to hear thoughts from you guys!!
Let me know if I should replace or change anything on it..

CPU: Intel - Core i7-8700K 3.7GHz 6-Core Processor

CPU Cooler: CRYORIG - H7 49.0 CFM CPU Cooler

MotherboardASRock - Z370M Pro4 Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

RAM: Team - Elite Plus 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory

SSD: Crucial - MX500 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

HDD: Seagate - Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

GPU: MSI - GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Video Card

PC Case:Corsair - SPEC-01 RED ATX Mid Tower Case

PSU: Corsair - RMx 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

(I have a few more stuff on the site like Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard, Wifi PCI Adapter,
Headphones, and Speakers)

(NOTE: I won't be purchasing these items until probably late 2020,
I will change the parts as time goes by but this list is just for now..
and also GPU prices are soo high rn, I will probably add a 1080/TI
when the prices go down... My budget is $2000 (MAX) for a full setup)

Solution
heya!

Seems like you have a great basic gaming pc at the moment. That's fine, but you can't ask for a late 2020 build reccomendation when it's 2018. PC hardware accelerates so fast that what is best for your price range now will be bettered in a month or three. Ask again in 18 months.
