I have an ASRock z370 extreme4 motherboard and this takes a 24 pin power connection and I'm thinking about getting a coolermaster PSU v650 I like this PSU because it's compact in size it's connections on the PSU end are 18 pin and then another one that says 10 pin for the motherboard how does this work ? Is it safe to have this cable plugged in I saw this question regarding coolermaster 750w but there were no answers so I thought I would try again lol thank you.

Solution
It has everything you need.
Connector
MB 20+4 Pin x 1
CPU12V 4+4 Pin x 1
PCI-e 6+2 Pin x 2

don´t worry , that is just this psus specific modular design : on the other end of the cable
(the one you will actually plug into your motherboard it has standard 20+4 and 4+4 pin connector)

however there are certainly better power supplies in its price range .
