I have just bought a AORUS ultra gaming rev 1.0 (z370) with an 8700k. Whenever i play games i get the BSOD with various different error codes each time, sometimes it says 'Memory_management' and the latest one iv had is 'Quota_Underflow' which crashes my entire system and forces me to reboot.

My PC seems completely fine when im just browsing and doing not very high intensity things. I'v read online that it could be down to Memory/RAM, im using this RAM currently

Is this RAM compatible with the board? it is picking both 8GB sticks up and allows me to use XMP for the 3200Mhz, Iv done tests on the ram using windows memory diagnostic tool of which came back with zero errors.

Iv also scanned my pc for malware and virus which came back clean. Also the 2 8GB sticks are situated in slots 1&3 on the board (next to each other on the right side of the board).

All my GPU drivers are upto date and i updated the BIOS verion AFTER these errors occured to f7h i think it is, and it did not help the situation. Also never tried to overclock the 8700k as of yet.

Specs:
CPU: Intel core i7-8700k
GPU: MSI GAMING X 1080
Motherboard: Gigabyte AORUS Ultra Gaming rev1.0
RAM: Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz C16

thank you for any help!

Hello there

its a boring answer but one of the simplest solutions is to make sure you have the latest drivers on all of your devices, and pick brand drivers above newer drivers ( even though that sounds strange when i ask you to update to latest driver version ) basically if you have a Gigabyte motherboard, you get the latest drivers to your intel motherboard instead of going to intels homepage and get the latest general driver for the chip.

second, if you dont have any parts to swap out and test with, you could try and take out your gfx card and run games (even if the fps is bad) with the onboard gfx card (which i assume there is as it has onboard HDMI ?).

So i went a couple days with not a single crash or BSOD, Until now, if you can make anything of these crash dumps and could try help me out it would be great...i notice it says about RAM, the ram is brand new and surely i wouldnt manage 2 days without a single crash if it was faulty..

i see the files but it isnt letting me do anything with them as i dont have permission? also i read something on my motherboard manual where it says '• When running XMP at DDR4 3200 MHz or higher, the system’s stability depends on the CPU’s capabilities.' do you think this could be anything? surely an 8700k @ stock is capable?
