Set up Windows on new PC build while waiting for 1080ti?

Hello.

I have built my first PC and have put it all together (except the GPU) and it is all working well.

However, I am planning on buying a 1080ti, but am going to wait a bit in hope that these crazy prices go down.

My question is: If I install windows and use the CPU integrated graphics to set it up and then install the 1080ti at a later date, would that be okay?

Would it in some way be a "cleaner" install if I were to install it with the 1080ti from the start or does it not matter at all and it's just a case of putting the 1080ti in and getting the drivers?

Thanks.

Yes it would, you just uninstall the CPU intergrated graphics and install for 1080ti.

No, it results same thing. Its same thing as swapping GPU, its simple...

No, it results same thing. Its same thing as swapping GPU, its simple process, don't worry :).

Thank you very much for your reply.

I have a corsair rm750x psu.

I also realise that this will be a lot more power than I would need if I were running on cpu integrated graphics.
