I have a 27" monitor I plug into my GPU through HDMI. I recently bought a second monitor, this one 22", which plugs in to my GPU through DVI-D. The second monitor will say "Input Not Support" upon startup or coming out of sleep mode every time, until I unplug it and plug it back in.

I'd really like to get around having to do this every time if possible.

Solution
Ok, one more trick to try - instead of unplugging cable, try to change monitor resolution, and see if that makes it come back.
Also problem could be caused by failing cable, so try another cable and/or another GPU port.

Both are 1920x1080 and I believe both are 60hz, although I might have to check the bigger one when I get home.
I have it set to extend.

It stays steady at 60hz and 1920x1080. Although this time, I had to unplug and plug it back in a couple times.

I will if it happens, but for some reason or another suddenly it's stopped doing it. Lol.

Alright well it started doing it again. Changing the resolution doesn't seem to change anything. I guess I'll probably try a different cable, now my problem is I think I lost the receipt lol
