Hyper 212 evo thermal paste for my gpu

Hello, I am just making sure that the thermal paste included with the hyper 212 evo is okay to use on my gpu. I noticed higher temps than normal on my 7950, so I opened it up, cleaned all the dust, and reapplied a liberal amount of thermal paste. I have not powered on the system yet, so I just need to make sure I’m not going to fry my beloved 7950. Thanks!

OH man I had to read this twice, thought you were trying to bolt a 212 evo to your GPU somehow.

But yes, it will definitely work. I actually just replaced my thermal paste on my GTX1080 FTW and was shocked to find cheap paste on a $600 GPU... lowered my temps 3-4C. So in your case it might not help (not sure what paste comes with the 212) but it definitely won't hurt.
