I have a 50mbps down / 5mbps up connection. If I connect my PC with ethernet I get 50/5 as I am supposed to be. I bought a powerline because Wi-Fi sucked and ethernet was not a viable option. At first it was working great, I was getting like a solid 46-48 download and 5 up. For some reason, it has now(some months later) dropped to 5 mbps down and up. It's almost like it's locked at 5 mbps. I don't know what has changed or why this might be happening. I've noticed that sometimes I'm still getting that 50 but more often than not it's the 5. Also, is it weird that only my download speed was affected?

The model would help.

If they are the newer AV2-1000/1200 such interference should not occur, but with the cheaper older units it is not uncommon.

In any case, I would probably try resetting them and then reinstalling them since you don't seem to have any obvious causes.

They are Devolo. Do you need the exact model?(asking because I'll have to search). They are both plugged into the wall socket directly. One has my PC and screen in the same socket, and the other one the router and a radio.
