HI there. New here. sorry if i am a bit bit too late to ask this. Is there a motherboard that can fit into an acer aspire l5100 case? it is a nicely designed case but too bad for the motherboard. there have been a lot of itx, nano itx, pico itx motherboards in the market now. just wondering if there is any which can fit into the case perfectly. i do not plan to use AMD.

Usually vendors like Acer, Dell, HP, etc use their own proprietary hardware. From looking at the motherboard found here: http://www.ascendtech.us/acer-aspire-l5100-mbsa409001-motherboard_i_mb64ambsa409001.aspx I can say that there are no standard motherboards you can buy for an exact fit. That notch in the board means something in the case causes the board to need to be shaped irregularly.

If you’re just trying to use the case to build in then I would suggest ditching that idea in favor of a standard case for standard ATX form factor motherboards. You would have to do some modding to even get an ITX board to work in that Acer tower.
