Can I sell my old Windows 7 key/CD?

I was looking through some things to sell on Ebay and thought I could sell my old retail version of Windows 7 Home Premium on there, both key and CD.

I upgraded to Windows 10 through Windows 7, but I don't have that version of Windows 10 anymore because I have a new motherboard and the digital license is no longer there.

Would I be able to sell my retail version even though it was used to upgrade to Windows 10 last year?

No.
You don't get to use it to Upgrade AND get to sell it. Your Win 7 license was consumed in the upgrade to 10.

And you didn't need to buy a new Win 10 for your new parts.
Read and do this before you change any parts:

This actually comes close to a similar situation I'm almost in. I used a retail Win 7 key to upgrade one of my computers to Windows 10. Win 10 ended up not working well on that computer, so during the 30 day trial period I reverted it back to Windows 7.

If I decide to replace that computer in the future, can I use the Win 7 license on the new computer?

(From what I've read, if I had decided to stay with Win 10, the free upgrade Win 10 license is tied to that PC, so I would have to buy a new copy of Win 10 for the new PC. But I haven't been able to find anything on what happens if I got the free upgrade, then rolled it back.)

For the Win 10, you do NOT need to purchase a new license for your new hardware.
As of the 1607 release, you can link the Win 10 license to your MS account, rather than specific hardware.
Read and do this before you change any parts:

But for your retail Win 7 license, it should be OK on new hardware.
If it fails, talk to a human at MS.
