I have a build I'm working and I have a decent start with the parts I want, however, I finding it difficult to find a good power supply. The build link is below of parts I have so far. I don't plan on getting a Graphics card as I am not going to be doing any power gaming, or video editing (at most OBS), but more basic, retro gaming, and movies on this machine.

I am looking for a power supply that is small. Being this build will be going into an original NES Nintendo case. I am a noob so If i'm missing something let me know.

Thanks

well something like a 200-300w PSU should be plenty, but you need to make sure the PSU you pick has a 4-pin for CPU power not an 8-pin. Also you'll need some sort of storage, I recommend an SSD because its small.

Yeah I plan on using a SSD most likely out side of the case inside an old NES cartridge, for easy access and possibly make it so I can switch out to other SSD with other OS on them. Thanks for the input!

I have an old small form factor PSU from my old HP that should be sufficient in size to fit in it, I don't know if that micro PSU will be able to power that APU though.

Already found the next, but can't see from that if a TFX psu (most likely to be usable) will fit next to that motherboard,

assume it's the lower one.

He certainly doesn't need 300watts for that system he looks at.

I said 300w is recommended, he can probably slip away with a 220w or 250w. and yes its the lower one, the top one is a remake that was released a year or so ago.

Correct I am definitely using the larger original one I and if I can get 300w in it I will, if not 220-250w for the setup should be enough for the basic setup I'm going with.

I looked it up, that pico unit can only do 160w, not even close to enough for his setup. You have to remember an APU draws more power than a normal CPU does because it has a separate graphics chip on board. I have a 350w unit for my A8 5500, 8gbs ram, and a hard drive and a case fan and that PSU gets close to saturated under load. a good brand name 220w or 250w should work but try and fit a 300w if you can.
