Hi so I just upgraded my home theater computer with an ssd. I didn't clone the HDD drive. I just installed the ssd and installed windows 10 on it and now it just shows reboot and select proper boot device. I was able to install windows but I'm unable to boot from the ssd. Need help cannot figure this one out. Thank you

Being you are having the problem with more than one SSD...it looks even more like the BIOS could be setup wrong.
In your BIOS....look for something called something like "boot order" "boot priority"....something like that.
You want the SSD to be FIRST. If it's not first....make it first. If it's not at the top, make it at the top.

Well....it's possible the SSD isn't bootable....but you say you did install windows on it....so it should be bootable.
So let me get this straight....you installed Windows 10 on the SSD....and then I assume you actually were in Windows 10 and all was running fine etc. Then you shut down and restarted.....or just restarted (it doesn't matter).....and you are getting this message.

I am at a loss....at least for the moment. I will think about it for a bit...and maybe someone else will chime in. It sounds like you are doing things correctly.
Do you have any other bootable media to try?...like a bootable USB or bootable CD....and go to the BIOS and put that at the top of the list and see if that boots?

Did you switch from IDE to AHCI or NVME in BIOS? Windows won't boot unless it's switch in Windows first. There are articles on how to do this without a clean install. Try and get it running under the original setting first though. Dont mess with your old windows install.
