Hello.

Evga 550w G2 user here. Recently i have noticed there is some clicking noise(kinda similar to coil whine) in my PSU. It happens every 26 second for 6 second duration regardless of load. Sound goes like click...click...click... I have verified that sound is coming from PSU by listening each component of my computer.

What could this sound mean? Any damage/failure in PSU?

Does is cause threat my computer and other parts?

Please help me as soon as Possible. and if possible please give me an link to live chat.

Regards.

I’ve found solution to that. Just wanted to let you all know. It was due to heat. Fan was facing bottom of my case even through there is opening for psu fan it wasn’t getting enough air. Turned fan facing up(facing into case), problem solved no more noise anything.
