Need help finding a new cpu cooler

Hello, I'm looking to buy a new cpu cooler for my HP envy 750-xt. It has a 4690k and the cooler that came with it just doesn't cut it. I really don't want a water cooler, and would much rather stick with air cooling. Any suggestions? I don't think I'll be overclocking anytime soon, but i would like to bring my temps down some just in case i do in the future. Thanks

This is a pretty good cooler on a budget, even if you are mildly overclcoking...

I don't think the H7 will fit into that case, may need to go with a low profile cooler such as the Noctua - NH-L9i.

Thanks for the quick response. Does this perform close to or better to hyper 212 or something similar? I’ve heard they’re good, but never used them myself

This looks pretty good. I’ve heard noctua is super quiet and typically pretty good, but will this perform well despite its size?

One thing im unsure of is if it will fit, I believe that case the CPU heatsink is literally screwed into the motherboard tray, which I dont think a NH-L9i will fit.
