Clean install of Windows on a new SSD while keeping everything else on my old HDD

I have a 128gb SSD with a fresh copy of Windows 7 on it, including all the drivers and updates I need.

I have been looking around for a while now but I can't seems to find an answer to my specific situation.

I am wondering how (if it's possible) to make my computer use the OS on my new SSD while keeping everything else on my old HDD and not losing anything and everything still working. so like, even keeping my old desktop arrangement and file structures.

The SSD is only 128gb while the HDD is 1tb so cloning isn't an option.

You've done a clean install on the new 120GB SSD?

Everything from the old OS and applications on the HDD is now in a whole different drive letter, the D drive.
Your new OS and its Registry knows nothing about them.

With a clean install of windows onto a new drive(SSD or HDD it doesn't matter) you MUST re-install ALL apps and programs, so the new install of Windows will know about them. There is no other way to do it.

Yeah I thought that would be the case. So basically I would have to reinstall all of my programs so they can work with the new operating system? I have done a clean install on windows on the SSD but I still have an OS on my HDD, I know I have to delete the OS from the HDD and re partition the HDD to it uses all of the available space. I just didn't want to do it until I new what would happen to my programs.
