So I'm upgrading my computer by taking everything and putting it in a bigger case so I can improve the GPU. But I need advice on the parts I need. Guy at best buy said I'd need a gen 4 motherboard, 750 power supply with 80 bronze or better, evo heat sink.

Precessor: Intel core i7-4790 CPU GHz 3.60
Ram: 16 GB
System type: 64 bit
Memory: 16348 MB

Here is what I got so far.
-rosewill ARC full tower gaming case supports 420mm long VGA card, 5 fans preinstalled, fan speed control-nighthawk

-evga super nova 850W G2 220-0850-XR 80+ Gold fully modular

-Asus QT7T/CSM LGA 1150 Intel Q87 HDMI sata 6gb/s USB 3.0 thin mini-ITX

-cooler master hyper 212x-cpu cooler with dual 120mm PWM fan

-looking at upgrading the memory card but wasn't sure what type would be best. Unless any one will work that hs a 2 or 2.5 TB

-i want to get a graphics card but not sure which would work with my setup. I was hoping for a 1080TI

a 1080 ti only needs a 650w power supply

It's what a person suggested I get on newegg since i have a 4th gen motherboard and need something that is also 4th gen since im using all the componets from my X51 in the new case. I wanted a gaming tower that had the blue led light so i might have gotten to big of a case, but ill end up upgrading it more in the future. Here is a link to the motherboard that they suggested.

My processor is a intel core i7-4790 CPU 3.60 GHz

i know the 1080ti only needs 650 and i should go with the 750 power supply as that was suggested when i had it looked at best buy. But i figured putting a little more in like a 850W wouldn't hurt.

pointless as you cannot overclock

all you need is a GOOD 650w unit
