Solution

You can go with the gtx950 gtx 1050 or rx460. If you need more performance you can consider upgrading your power supply to a Corsair CX 450 or any other good quality 450 Watt or higher - read here:

Summing up i7-4770 will not bottleneck any graphics card on the market, nice! 12GB, also great! You wrote nothing about your power supply, but your HD 5450 consumes only 20W. The HD 7870 is way more power hungry with a TDP of 175W.
I´d recommend a gtx950 or rx460 instead. They have similar performance and only 75W TDP.
I hope I could help, feel free to ask further questions.

Remove left the side panel of your case and make a photo!
On the back there should be 2 screws for each side panel. You will unscrew them and then there should be a lip on the case side on the back where you removed the screws where you will pull on. The panel then should slide back maybe 1/2 an inch and then be able to be removed.
