When I'm away I often connect to my VPN (running on a Windows 2008 Server) from my laptop or Android device, so that I can get access to my documents at home. I would like to share that VPN connection wirelessly with other devices - e.g. so that I can stream music and videos from my home server to the Chromecast that I travel with. Is there a free way of sharing a VPN connection wirelessly like this?

Thanks for the suggestion. My wifi adapter does seem to have hosted network support, so I followed the instructions, and managed to get wireless devices connected to the hotspot on the laptop, but none of the connected devices could access either LAN or WAN addresses. The laptop acting as the hotspot had full access to both LAN and WAN addresses via the VPN. I wasn't sure whether I should connect the laptop to the VPN before or after setting up the hotspot, so tried both options - got the same result both times.
