I'm upgrading my psu but I'm confused about the connectors. I have an I7 7700k and gtx 1080 if that matters. My mobo is z270-a. I don't know how many pins the connector for the mobo requires. I read there are different kinds. Ill upload these pictures and the link to the psu. Hopefully someone can tell by looking if everything I need will be included because my current unit is not modular. https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-Modular-Warranty-220-G3-0750-X1/dp/B005BE058W/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_147_tr_t_2/134-0670893-8414020?_encoding=UTF8&refRID=MPSAB646VAHKR2XTZV6T&th=1

this info will be in your mobo manual. You will have to do a bit of reading, and match up the connections with the new PSU.
or panel audio to the mobo you have.
If you wanna spend the extra bucks that's up to you. Having the extra juice won't do any harm, but a 650 model will do fine, and give you the headroom you're thinking of.
The G2 is an awesome unit. It will have all the standard connectors required, and some additional PCIe connectors for extra power for a high end GPU.

You will get a bunch of cables with the PSU, makes sure to use those, as opposed to the ones already in the system. Just swap them out.

The unit I'm looking at is the G3, but my current psu is not modular so I wont be able to use any of the same cables. I have an ssd and hdd and I'm not sure if it comes with enough cables for both.

Typo, I meant G3.

It has plenty of cables for both. Don't worry. You'll be fine. What are you specs of your hardware. 750w is a bit overkill. Any decent 500-600w PSU you will do for a fairly decent high end system with a mid-high GPU.

The same model G3 650w will save a couple of quid. You shouldn't be using more than that, unless you have an SLI set up with GPU's/CPU overclocked.

That cable should be comming front the front of the case not the power supply for the front panel audio.

So that hd audio goes from mobo to where? Also my liquid cooling system only plugs into the mobo correct? And where does the JUSB3 cable go to from the mobo? Sorry I know that's alot
