What is the total budget? Living in US? Major usage?
If only gaming, I5-8600k is a better buy than 7700k due to similar gaming performance but better upgrade path.
GTX 1060 6gb is very good for 1080p 60-75 Hz monitor.
G2 is very good psu, so you are covered there.

under a £1000 The I5-8600k requires a 300series chipset prefer i7 tbh.
1070 to much really expensive.
Do a lot of gaming, music production, internet, media etc

Resolution atm with my gtx 750ti is at 1360x768 @60hz

psu is evga g2 supernova 650w

You can get a I5-8600K bundle with 16gb ram, cooler and motherboard for £589.95
https://www.amazon.co.uk/ADMI-COMPONENT-BUNDLE-Overclocked-Motherboard/dp/B077B58D5M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1518203142&sr=8-1&keywords=i5-8600k+bundle
That will be less expensive than a i7-7700k bundle, and the 8600K is a better gamer and an equal multithread processor.

Graphics cards are overpriced now because of mining.
GTX1060 is a very good upgrade in graphics card capability.
The 3gb cards are cheaper, under £300.
The 6gb cards have more cuda cores and are stronger, costing more like £330

I5 and I7 has little diff in gaming. I7 is more for productivity work.
