My dog chewed through my Ethernet cable and I replaced it with a brand new one and it keeps saying on my network adapter(killer Ethernet e2400 gigabit) that there isn't a thereby plugged in and when I troubleshoot it says the cord is damaged or not plugged in but the cord works fine cause I connected it to my other computer and the internet worked fine on it

Was the dog just chewing or did he pull too? It's possible the Ethernet port is damaged. Grab a flashlight and maybe a magnifying glass and inspect it.
