New Router and issues with the Connection to it

So in fact when i try to play games on wlan the connection is so unstable that u cannot be safe to play 20min without a disconnect. My download speed is mutch highter on Wireless then with lan cable. BUT ive got powerline so maby this is limitating somehow my download speed. but this connection is mutch more stable and i do not hav issues while playing a game. but when i want to download something i got max like 500kb/s and with wlan 5mb/s.
what did i miss? Lan is set to power mode but i cant fix it that way.. ive got a Fritz.Box btw*
my wlan goes over a usb adapure so maby it has also to do with that guy.. anyways tnx for your help for now.

are there any QoS services enabled? Wifi speed should not be faster than a direct connection so the power-line adapters are definetly not doing it for you.
For starters..

- Find your USB adapter in Device Manager and disable any power saving settings
- update firmware/drivers for the USB adapter and the Fritzbox if possible
- Try changing channels on the wifi
- Disable any QoS settings and see if that helps
- Move the wifi source to an optimal location, higher up and away from interference if you can.
to see if it helps. You say you get OK speed on wifi, but the quality of the connection is poor.
