Device reset itself every 3-5 hours, without BSOD, while web browsing only

There is no BSOD ( I turned on the blue screen in the advanced settings )

I tried to replace VGA card from AMD R7 265 to GTX 1050 ti not helped.

PSU: It is an almost new (2016 one) Be Quiet! Straight Power 10 400W and PC restart while idle , not while gaming or rendering video.

CPU: AMD Ryzen R3 1200
Memory: Kingston Hyperx Fury 2x4GB 2400Mhz

I tried: Update windows, update drivers, change video card, run malware test, run registry error test, run SFC, run DISM, run Prime95 (for testing CPU and memory), I checked all the voltages and frequencies in HWinfo64

It is very interesting, because it only restart when almost idle, web browsing and listening to music. And every 3-4-5 hours (sometimes frequentlier)

I can edit videos for long time, render videos, play games with no restarts.

In the matter of diagnostics we could try changing it to high performance and see if you still have the problem. You could try turning off cool n quiet and see if the problem persists. Your problem might be a setting like that causing the problem given that you said you can utilise programs for a longer period with no problem, it just happens when idle.

So if you could do these things, that would be great:

- Give us a full spec of your PC build. Put your build in pcpartpicker.com and link it that would be great as that will give us a lot of information
- If you can remember the time your PC last randomly restarted, go to Event Viewer in Windows and see what events occurred and tell us the events
- Change to high performance in power...

When it restarts, does it lshow the BIOS/logo first? You could check the power settings in windows and change from balanced to performance, whilst also going through those performance settings and turn off sleep/hibernate settings. Could try disabling c-states in BIOS too.

It is in AMD Ryzen Balanced power plan, which AMD recommends for Ryzen processors. There is no sleep and hybernate in this plan.

For the C-states, do you mean the AMD cool n quiet function?

- Replicate what causes the restart and see what happens. Check Event Viewer if it happens again and let us know what events occurred

edit: update your BIOS also if you haven't already
