ssd with 4205 hours worth buying

Is a samsung 850 evo 120gb ssd with 4205 functioning hours worth buying at 50 dollars or just add 25 dollars and get a 250gb one?
The 120gb one has 7651gb of write

Add $25 & buy a new one then.

I have drives that are 3 years old with less writes than that.

If it were a 480-500gb model fine , but that is not even cheap for a new 120gb drive imo (I mistakenly read it as 500gb for some reason)

Hours on isnt representative of usage properly.

That is a lot of hours though , pretty much 6 months solid 24/7 power on time.

So its kind of impossible to say either yes or no.

It could have been powered on but hardly used for any write cycles or it could have been constantly hammered.

Samsung magician would give you all the relevant info but obviously the deive has to be installed & running to use it.
