Hi,
i want to overclock an i9 7940X. After some research I found out that I should buy a MB with two 12V 8 pin EPS power connectors.
1) Some of these MBs have 8 power phases, some have 13. Why?
2) How many phases do I need for safe OC?
3) Is it enough to buy a MB with one 12V 8 pin EPS and one 12V 4 pin ATX connector?
