Hello, I've been having a serious issue trying to install my GPU's drivers or even get my computer to recognize my card at all. It detects it, as whenever the card is in it appears in HWinfo under a generic name, but nothing beyond that.

Trying to install the NVIDIA drivers always turns up a "This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware" error.

On top of that, it is not visible in Device Manager that I can tell, even when using the "set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1" CMD command.

This is the second GTX 1050 card I've attempted this with, the first an EVGA-brand, and they've both shown near-identical problems.

Things I've tried:
-Using DDU to uninstall any previous Nvidia drivers while in safe mode
-Resetting and updating my BIOS
-Reseating the card, multiple times

Windows is up to date as well. I'm at a complete loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you really have tried the things you said, then the MOBO or the GPU has to be faulty.. if you can, try another GPU in the mobo. Also check if the GPU is really 100% stuck in the PCI-E slot, maybe some connectors are not placed right?.
