Ps4 isn’t recognising my extended hard drive after unplugging it by accident, had lots of games on and worked perfect before?

So my hard drive had most of my games on and it was fine until it unplugged accidentally whilst on ps4, now all games aren’t downloaded and my ps4 doesn’t recognise the hard drive , can anyone help as I have too many games for my PS4’s storage alone ?

I'm hoping the drive suffered a logical failure rather than a physical failure. You might want to locate, consult a local data recovery person who can walk you through what is necessary to bring the drive back to life -- if it's only a logical failure. I'm at school, so I'm not able to do any walk-throughs; others here may be much more helpful than I.

Sorry for not responding.
I searched and it seems like your "head" that reads data is stuck to the "plate" which contains data.
Try to shake it left right of the hdd < - > (this "-" is HDD how you see shake it like <>).
If not then it might be that the "head" is gone off HDD "plate".

Redownlading might be pain but this is only an suggestion and i don't have experience at all.
