So I have these parts for a PC that I built. I’m new to the building community so I’m not sure if I left something out or if some of these parts are compatible with each other. I built the PC following several guides and when I turn on the PC it turns on but no image comes to my monitor. I’m not sure if the graphics card isn’t compatible with my motherboard and I can’t find anything which states yes or no.

I’ve tried all my power connectors and everything is connected. All pins are securely fastened. I only have the one ballistic ram in right now as I wasn’t sure if the other two were compatible. The PC does not make any sounds when it turns on. The CPU is seated as I have checked.

I’ve tried two different monitors as well.

Im writing this from work so I’m sure I left something out. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

So my computer is working now and I figured I would update this post just in case someone else has the same issue. I wish I could list the steps in a good order for everyone to follow but I kind of did this in a jumble so I'm not sure what worked.

When I first built the PC i tried running it on my 4K TV but it would not display anything. I was using a Samsung 4K and I had the same problem with my old computer not showing a display on this 4K TV so I tried using my older monitor. I basically rebuilt the PC twice, cleared the CMOS, took the battery out of the MB and let it sit for a while without one. I checked all the pins on my plugins, I made sure all my standoff were in place, thermal paste; literally EVERYTHING I could think of...
Is that different brands of RAM? Try with one stick of RAM in from one brand only and see if it boots up. Then repeat this for all sticks individually. If all work, and you have eliminated other components of error, then mixing the RAM may be the issue. Just my two cents as this occurred to my mates PC before. Could be wrong but worth a shot.

Yes all the fans soon up and all the LEDs are lit up as well. The motherboard has the glow as if it is working but just no display.

I only have the one ram in right now. Those are two separate types of ram yes that’s why I’m just trying to use the single ballistic just to make sure it’s not that.

Upon reading more reviews of this MB(Z370 Killer sli/ac) I noticed a lot of people were having the same problem. Several of them were saying they were having incompatibility issues with RAM. I tried using 1 stick of ram in each slot, A1, A2, B1, B2 with no change. I tried using two sticks of RAM and still nothing.

I left my build running on my old monitor and it still was displaying the (No Signal) on the screen. On a whim, without changing anything, I switched back to my new 4K TV with two DDR4 RAM in the B1, B2 slot with an HDMI cord plugged in to my dedicated GPU and it worked. I now have 3 sticks of DDR4 RAM in slots A2, B1, and B2. It still works fine. I have reset and switched around a few things and its still going strong.

I am not sure what fixed it and I wish I could pinpoint it. I know the MB can run up to 4K resolution so I think my older monitor may have been incompatible? I'm not sure, but hopefully someone can pinpoint something for other people with this MB who has the same issues.

I realize this but at first when I was using slots A2 and B2 there was no signal going to my display. I tried on two separate monitors with that orientation of RAM and it wasn't working. I may have not had them seated correctly I'm not sure. I'm just using A2 and B2 now with two Ballistix and it's working fine.
